Dzsekszon's Music Corner

What you are seeing is my music sharing site I've developed and maintained for almost a year now. The heart of the music corner is aya, a task processing daemon which transcodes the uploads to opus, thus making my life much easier.

You are free to download and listen to anything uploaded here. I only ask you not to abuse the option to download the original albums, since it's a considerable stress on my bandwidth and disk I/O. I'll eventually move the downloads behind a web application firewall to restrict the number of daily downloads.

Even though I try to make my websites as much Javashit-free as possible, sometimes it cannot be avoided. Fortunately, in the case of the music corner it's only required to play the previews and interact with the UI. There is a simple fallback that still lets you listen to individual songs, so don't worry about that. Also note that the downloadable zips contain higher quality songs than what's available as preview, and sometimes include scans and logs.

To save bandwidth and decrease loading times I've modified aya to transcode mp3 previews to opus as well, therefore I highly discourage anyone from saving the previews. Lossy-to-lossy transcoding is considered heresy among tech-savvy users. But hey, millions of people listen to music on jejtube which has nearly the same quality, so who gives a fuck about what audiofags say.
